Bridlington Bay, with vessels sheltering from a storm near the harbour, one vessel entering the harbour whilst a second vessel has struck the south pier. A lifeboat on the left, putting out to rescue crews, Flamborough Head in the distance. As its size demonstrates, this is by far the most ambitious of Allerston's known works and must have been specially commissioned for a wealthy customer.
