One artist’s view of the building of the Kessock Bridge, inspired by a night-time visit to watch the arc welders at work. The Kessock Bridge spans the Beauly Firth between Inverness and the Black Isle, and was opened in 1982. Gordon L. Harvey is a local artist, who used to teach at Inverness Royal Academy. Several of his artworks explore themes associated with large architectural structures such as bridges and oil rigs.
