A giant seed lying prone, which has fallen from an old and broken industrial mould, in five pieces. The sculpture represents new life and growth emerging from industrial decline and the jigsaw nature of the sculpture allows the viewer to mentally reassemble the pieces. This theme was developed in consultation with community workshops at 21 sites across England and Wales and there are editions of the sculpture marking each location. The materials chosen have a resonance with former industrial uses of the site reflecting the regeneration. In Parc Penallta the sculpture is arranged in such a way that the viewer looks through the two vertical industrial moulds towards the vast open countryside.
