Pencil sketch of a group of agricultural buildings (farm) on a hillside, surronded by drystone walled fields, and solitary trees, under a cloudy sky. Hatching in sky to indicate clouds, simply drawn and shaded. Title in bottom left corner: 'Borwick Fold Tarn.' It was discovered from an old OS Map that the small building in the immediate foreground is an 'Old Engine House.' On the Verso is a series of ink (biro) drawings of different elevations and hill landscapes, with handwritten annotations, the central label reads as: 'Nab Scar to Fairfield, from South.'
