A highly ornate stone tablet with two figures of servicemen in Boer war campaign dress flanking the dedicatory tablet in the centre. There is an incised inscription furled flag behind each serviceman and laurel branches at the top of the frame. One serviceman holds and sword and the other holds a rifle, with a crown and unicorn above the text.
