A substantial canopied cast-iron drinking fountain. Two eight-sided concrete stone steps rise to a dais and concrete covered plinth. There are eight columns on chamfered bases with foliate detailing to base, a capital and interior support eight arches with scallop edging. Plaques are set in roundels above all arches, decorated with herons and stags and inscribed. Stylised creatures appear between the plaques. The roof is ribbed and domed. There is traceried metal with floral designs. The fountain painted cream with the plaques and capitals painted red, creatures and roof ribs painted gold, column bases painted brown and the floral detail inside, above the capitals painted green and red. A redundant replacement water pipe is set in the centre with a drain set into concrete.
