A charming example of Prytherch's early to mid-life work, with delightful light and colour effects captured in a slightly impressionistic manner. His later work became much sharper and clearer and, perhaps, a little less inspired.

This work is a companion piece to 'Gypsy Camp near Merthyr Tydfil' (also in the Collection).
