A polished stone sculpture of a stylised bird made from a hard black stone with some variegation. The bird is seated on a slim rectangular plinth, with a stylised beak curving over to rejoin the plinth at the end. The work has some incised decoration, a large eye to each side at the top and the artist’s name ‘BROWN’ incised on underside of the plinth.
