A moulded concrete and ceramic artwork on the former British Home Stores shop, Eastgate Street, Gloucester. The three concrete art panels are about 50 years old and depict the goods on sale in the shops at the time. There are nine principal depictions per panel showing everyday items such as electrical goods, toys, clothes, and food – all painted and gilded. In between the 3 x 3 portrayals, per panel are four repeating relief ribbons of 10 abstract forms. The two artists, along with John Nash, established the Colchester Art Society in the 1930s.
