The standing male figure is wielding a (now missing) blade. He has a single Chinese character painted in black on the chest of his tunic. The kneeling man's queue (or hair braid) is made of black thread and is being pulled up. The facial features of both figures are highlighted with black and red paint. the figures are mounted on a carved, square wooden base.
