William Teulon Blandford Fletcher was known mainly as a landscape and genre painter. He knew Stanhope Forbes and worked for six months in Newlyn between 1884 and 1885. He spent most of his career travelling and painting throughout England with a base in Dorking, Surrey. He also exhibited at the Royal Academy and in 1975 there was a show of his work at London's Maas Gallery.
