Mentioned in a letter from Flaxman, 25th May 1788. Modelled in clay, baked and sent to England. 'When the artist returned to England it was worked in marble for Mr Knight of Portland Place' (from 'A Complete Description of Sir John Soane's Museum', 1836, p.84).
