A bronze sculpture of an Arctic Tern (sometime known as a sea swallow) mounted on a rugged stone plinth.It was originally on temporary loan to the Scottish Seabird Centre but left Scotland in 2005 to be exhibited in Luxembourg. The arctic tern is known for its migration cycle. It flies from its Arctic breeding grounds to the Antarctic and back again each year, a journey of 12,000 miles each way.
