A three-quarter length portrait of a man in a dark suit, his right hand resting on a cane. Beresford was born 1773 and was made Archbishop of Armagh in 1822. He died in 1862 and is buried in the crypt of St Patrick's Church of Ireland cathedral, Armagh.
