A reclining figure of Li Tieguai, one of the Eight Daoist Immortals of Chinese culture. A rooster – representing the year of production, according to the Chinese duodenary calendar – rests its claw on Li Tieguai's right hand. In his left hand he holds a bat (wufu), a symbol of happiness and longevity. His hat lies on his back.

The rooster is one of the 12 animals of the duodenary cycle, an ancient method of counting by animal names.
