'An-An' lived at London Zoo from 1968 to 1969, where he was on loan from Moscow Zoo. The artist Diana, Lady Balfour of Inchyre, was born Diana Blanche Harvey, the daughter of Sir Robert Grenville Harvey, 2nd Bt. She married Harold Harington Balfour, 1st Baron Balfour of Inchrye, son of Colonel Nigel Harington Balfour and Grace Annette Marie Madocks, on 15 December 1921. A son, Ian Balfour, 2nd Baron Balfour of Inchrye, was born on 21 December 1924.
