Aeneas Silvius is crowned Poet Laureate; foreground, figures in Renaissance costume observe a robed Aeneas Silvius who kneels at the foot of a throne to be crowned with a laurel by Frederick III, figures hold sticks, sheaths and spears and wear plumed hats and cod pieces; middleground, civic square with men playing cards on steps and a large classical portico with arches and a balustrade where three figures converse and a man attacks a woman; background, hills, trees and a duck? and a pigeon? in flight. Engraved with fine lines. Surrounding trompe-l\'oeil effect of an arch has been omitted. Latin inscription
