Relief, ivory; frame, tortoiseshell. The bust in profile of Adolhus Frederick, King of Sweden (1751-1771), wearing a tie-wig, a fur-lined cape, a coat and a cravat, the Stars of three Orders pendant from the neck, another Star on his coat, and a fifth attached to the sash of an Order passed over his left shoulder. The relief is inscribed on the back 'C.A.Lück, Fec.'

The ivory is deep cream in tone. The left hand lower corner is broken and repaired. The relief is in an ebony and tortoise-shell frame.
