This painting is related to the left half of a painting by Teniers in Manchester City Art Gallery (accession number 1979.506), dated 1652. The details of the present picture mostly match the Manchester picture, but not the table on the right of the present picture, which is rectangular and uncovered, as against the table in the Manchester painting, which is round and covered with a green cloth.
