Street scene, Peshawer, India; foreground, on the left, the side of a building and a large earthenware pot; middleground, a child begging?, a man by a shop facade and a bearded man, wearing a dhoti, shielding the sun from his eyes; background, a street with a lantern three storey buildings, shop canopies and a group of men wearing turbans. Etched in a sketchy line with hatching and cross hatching. Some foul-biting and wiping. Foxing on reverse. Paper has the watermarks 'F.J.H.' and 'ME'
