There is a gap in the upper part of the wall which may indicate a window or the gap between two chimneys. To right of the gable wall is the remains of a much lower wall. Beyond the ruins, at the centre of the image, the land slopes downwards to a quarry which appears to be filled with water. Treetops emerge from the water and there are trees and bushes on the land around the quarry. The land rises behind the quarry and another long, low, ruined structure is visible behind and to left. Hills rise behind the second ruined structure, with trees and bushes throughout.
