This satirical view of a Quaker Meeting is known in many painted and printed versions. Only four of these are thought to be the work of Heemskerk himself, one of which, in the Powisland Museum in Welshpool, is signed and dated 1678 and inscribed 'London'. It has been suggested that this painting is an anonymous copy after one of the prints.
