Folding fan. The sticks are richly carved and gilt, the guards showing putti on maypoles. The leaf is painted on the recto in delicate pastel shades with a frieze of putti floating among clouds and carrying flower garlands. The verso carries a crown and several hovering insects, including bees.

It is claimed that the fan once belonged to Queen Isabella II of Spain (1830–1904).
