Born in Glasgow, Wallace trained at Glasgow School of Art from 1987 to 1991. Since graduating he has exhibited extensively in London and Scotland and has won a number of awards. His paintings are ambiguous and engaging, and he is arguably one of the most imaginative artists working today.
