Painter, born in Harrogate, Yorkshire. After private education he studied at Heatherley’s School of Fine Art, 1945, then from 1946–50 with Bernard Adams. His work was reproduced extensively in women’s magazines and he showed at RP, RA, ROI, NS of which he was a member, RBA and with Chelsea Art Society. Hertfordshire County Council bought his work. Lived in London.
