Painter and teacher, born in Bridge of Allan, Stirlingshire. She attended Colchester School of Art to obtain her national diploma in design, 1953–7, teachers including Hugh Cronyn and John O’Connor, then Royal College of Art, 1957–60, with Carel Weight and Colin Hayes. Lived at Inniemore Lodge, Pennyghael, on Isle of Mull, from 1967 running the Inniemore School of Painting. In 2001 she shared a show of Mull-inspired landscapes at Alpha House Gallery, Sherborne, with Bruce Killeen. Was a member of RWA, also showing at RA and solo with Torrance Gallery in Edinburgh. Nuffield Foundation holds her work.
