Painter, born in Northumberland, who studied at Central School of Art, 1982–5, then Royal College of Art from 1988 for several years. Group shows included Corpus Christi College, Oxford, 1988; Royal College show in Thun, Switzerland, and Into the Nineties, Mall Galleries, 1989; and John Moores Liverpool Exhibition, 1989–90. In 1987 he gained a Northern Arts Award. Lived for a time in London.
