Painter, printmaker and teacher, born in Mold, Flintshire. He studied at Chester School of Art, 1950–4, and Liverpool College of Art, 1954–5, gaining his teacher’s diploma. Taught from 1957, including the Grammar School at Saltash, Cornwall, where he settled. Was a member of RCamA, Newlyn Society of Artists, Penwith Society of Arts and Plymouth Society of Artists. Also took part in group shows at RWA, Royal National Eisteddfod, Thackeray Gallery and WAC. Had a solo exhibition at Exeter University, 1966, followed by others in the West Country and Wales. Plymouth City Art Gallery holds his work.
