Sculptor and lecturer, born in Worcester, who gained a first-class honours degree in sculpture at Loughborough College of Art and Design, where she was to lecture; gained a diploma in general art and design at Worcester College of Art; did a City and Guilds teacher training, module one; other studies including basic chainsaw techniques. At 26 she became the youngest artist elected to RBS, also belonging to the Loughborough Group, United Abstract Artists, Abstract Art is Beautiful and the International Art Collective. White said that many of her sculptures “lie between being appealing and threatening, vulnerable and frightening, and express feelings and emotions that are questionable, capturing the viewer and drawing them into a conversation with the piece.
