Widely travelled watercolourist, notable for her flower paintings, who was elected an associate of the SWA in 1899. She showed widely, including the RBSA, Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool, RBA, RI and elsewhere in the provinces. In the 1890s, Waterfield completed views at Walberswick, Suffolk. She lived for some years at Nackington House, Canterbury, Kent.
