Landscape painter who was by profession a local government officer, 1926–68, born and lived in Caernarvon, Wales. He attended the Grammar School there, completed external studies through London University but in art was self-taught. At various times he was a member of Arts Society of Paddington, Caernarvon Art Group, was founder of Caernarvon Art Club and a founder-member and former secretary of NWG. His father, also Charles Wyatt Warren, was a painter and printmaker. Showed RCamA, Denbighshire Art Society, Royal National Eisteddfod, ROI, extensively in Wales and abroad. Had a solo show at London Welsh Association, 1960, some 50 solos following in Britain and North America. Did commissioned work for North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Brussels, and University College of North Wales, Bangor.
