
Artist constructing and painting works in a wide range of materials, born in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, who attended St Martin’s School of Art, 1987, and Goldsmiths’ College, 1988, in 1991 winning a Nicholas and Andrei Toot Travelling Scholarship. Group exhibitions included Four Sculptors at Laure Genillard Gallery, 1991; Galerie Martina Detterer, Frankfurt, 1994; and Making It at Tate Gallery in Liverpool, where Timoney lived, 1995. Solo exhibitions included Goldsmiths’ and Milch Gallery, both 1992; Laure Genillard, from 1993; Galleria Raucci/Santamaria, Napoli, 1994; and Bluecoat Gallery, Liverpool, in 2002. Lived in Liverpool.
