Artist and teacher, depicting gardens, still life, landscapes and beaches in watercolour and gouache, born in Sheffield, Yorkshire. She studied at Sheffield and Royal Colleges of Art. Taylor taught full-time at East Dereham High School for Girls and in Epsom, Surrey, where she lived, at the College of Art and Longwead Boys School, as well as privately. She was a member of RBA and fellow of RWS. Took part in mixed exhibitions at RA, Chris Beetles and New Grafton Galleries, showing solo at John Linfield Gallery. The Graves Art Gallery, Sheffield, and several education authorities hold her work.
