Artist and illustrator, born in Liége, Belgium, who studied at Brussels Royal Academy, 1937–41. She illustrated books for Belgian and British publishers. Married Kenneth Taylor, a Bolton in Lancashire man, and settled and raised a family there. In 1950, she was awarded the Mastery of Book Illustration, at ENSAAD, in Brussels. Took part in group shows in London and Paris, also at Bolton School (Boys’ Division), 1951, and at Bolton Art Gallery (which holds her watercolour Boy and Bicycle), 1959. Had several solo shows in Liége (1946), Brussels (1947 and 1950), Manchester (1961 and 1963) and in Bolton at Prestons Art Gallery, 1964. Le Cabinet des Estampes de Bruxelles and leading provincial Belgian galleries hold examples.
