Painter in oil, tempera and watercolour; illustrator. Born in Abingdon, Berkshire, she studied at the Byam Shaw and Vicat Cole School of Art, then at the Royal Academy Schools, 1915–20, where she received several medals for painting. Exhibited RA, RP, RBA, in the provinces and at the Paris Salon. Illustrated children’s books and had work reproduced in Royal Academy Illustrated. With the artists Elsie Gledstanes and Alice Mary Burton ran the Unique Studio for Children art school in London. Had a studio there for many years.
