Sculptor, who also experimented with media such as printmaking and tapestry, born in St Andrews, Fife, who graduated with honours from Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen, 1987–91, in 1989 attending Hoogeschool voor de Kunsten, Arnhem, Netherlands. She won several RSA awards. Was employed as an artist/technician at Scottish Sculpture Workshop, 1994, becoming workshop manager, Glasgow Sculpture Studios, 1996. Exhibitions included RSA from 1992; Scandex, at Aberdeen Art Gallery, in Aberdeen, 1994; and Cast, Carved and Constructed at Crawford Arts Centre, St Andrews, 1995; she had a solo show there, Corpus, in 1997. Publicly sited work included Gyle Shopping Centre, in Edinburgh, for Edinburgh District Council; Tyrebagger Forest, Aberdeen, for Forest Enterprise; and Peatyards Rehearsal Rooms, Haddo Arts Trust, Tarves, all 1994.
