Painter, born in Nottingham, who studied from 1966 at the College of Art there, also at Birmingham and Royal Colleges of Art. She taught at Birmingham and Sheffield. Rose was included in the 1980 exhibition The British Art Show, chosen by the critic William Packer and toured by the Arts Council, which acquired her work. She also showed at Graves Art Gallery in Sheffield and Ikon Gallery, Birmingham.
