Painter, who gained a fine art honours degree from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee, 1996–00. He was nominated for the Scottish International Education Trust Award and was winner of the Ninewells MRI Imaging Purchase Prize, both 2000; and won the Young Artist of the Year Prize at The Hunting Art Prizes 2001 for his painting Dormitory, “an exploration of both the effects of photography and the experience of inner space.” Robertson took part in the Compass Gallery, Glasgow, Christmas Show, from 1993; RSA Students Exhibition and Summer and Landscape Shows at Art Exposure Gallery, all 2000; and New Faces 2001, The Leith Gallery, Edinburgh, in 2001. Duncan of Jordanstone and Tayside University Hospitals held examples. Lived in Glasgow.
