Painter who studied in Madrid, Spain, at the Accademia de Bellas Artes. He exhibited occasionally at the RA Summer Exhibition, 1951–76, then lived for 20 years in Mexico, where he showed at the Government Museum. Reeve had a first solo exhibition in London in 1975 at Arthur Tooth and Sons, then solo in 1978 at Fischer Fine Art, from 1983 at Browse & Darby and in 2000 with Theo Waddington Fine Art at Robert Sandelson. In 1999 his stylish 1972 Portrait of Bevis Hillier, the writer, was included in The Art of Fashion at Hove Museum and Art Gallery, which owns it. Lived in Dulverton, Somerset.
