Painter and teacher, born in Shepton Mallet, Somerset. Studied ceramics at Brighton College of Art, 1958–63, after which he taught. In 1971 he was a visiting lecturer at University of Washington, and he later taught at Middlesex and Brighton Polytechnics. His exhibitions included New Chelsea Gallery, 1962; Clytie Jessop, 1970; John Moores Liverpool Exhibition from 1972; Art into Landscape at Serpentine Gallery, 1977; and in 1979 Basle Art Fair, Israel Observed, sponsored visit to Israel to work. Had a first solo show at Redfern Gallery in 1972, followed by others, and one of fantasy paintings at Woodlands Art Gallery, 1979. Lived in London.
