Painter, notably of portraits, and miniaturist, born in Liverpool, who studied art in London, Paris and Antwerp. He was one of the founders of SM, became its president and a member of RBA. Among a string of portraits of titled and notable people were Father Bernard Vaughan and Princess Marie Louise. He was also a member of Savage Club, which owned his portrait of King Edward VII, and Chelsea Arts Club. Praga was a prolific artist, showing at RI, RA, ROI and elsewhere. Lived in London.
