Painter producing works that contained wild and dramatic elements. She was born in Edinburgh, where she studied at the College of Art, then emigrated to America, eventually settling in Ireland. Pierce took part in many group shows and was included in New Work from Dublin, Art First, 1998. Later solo exhibitions included Scottish Gallery, Edinburgh, from 1991. The Arts Council of Northern Ireland, Scottish Arts Council and corporate collections held examples.
