Artist, teacher, also worked in films, who was born in Wattsville, Gwent. He attended Newport College of Art, 1959–64, then Cardiff College of Art, 1964–5 and 1975–6. For several years he was involved in films, including the 1976 prizewinning documentary Above us the Earth, also in promoting theatrical and musical events in west Wales. Teaching experience included being visiting lecturer at Dyfed College of Art and teaching foundation studies at Carmarthen College. Was in Six Young Painters, Newport Art Gallery, 1963; Fishguard Festival, St David’s Cathedral, 1977; and had a series of solo shows, including Glynn Vivian Art Gallery, Swansea, 1996, and tour from Oriel Coliseum Gallery, Aberystwyth, 1999–00.
