Painter, of Swedish origin, who lived in Canada for a while. He studied art at the Byam Shaw School and Royal Academy Schools, then became an apprentice at Alec Johnston’s Scenic Paint Room, where he met Charles Ricketts, the artist, whose companion he became. Also acted as Ricketts’ studio assistant and went on two trips to Italy with him. After Ricketts’ death Nyberg married and lived in Uckfield, Sussex. He exhibited abstract watercolours and drawings there and elsewhere.
