Painter, printmaker and stage designer, whose principal career was in local government, born in Bickley, Kent. Studied at Hornsey College of Art, his teachers including Norman Janes, 1937–9 and 1946–8. Showed RA, SGA of which he was a member, RI and with Islington Art Circle. Islington Libraries hold his work. Lived in London and Norwich.
