Painter, born in Ipswich, Suffolk, who was a member of RBA, Suffolk Artists and Brighton Arts Club. Many of his landscapes were of Sussex, as he lived originally in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, then in Sussex at Pevensey, and he was given a memorial exhibition at Brighton Art Gallery in 1947. His work was also shown at RA, RI, Fine Art Society, in the provinces and at Paris Salon.
