Sculptor and artist in black-and-white, born in Liverpool where she attended the School of Art after Bootle School of Art. Then attended Royal Academy Schools under William Reid Dick, 1924–7, winning three silver and three bronze medals, followed by studies in France and Italy. Member of Sandon Studios Society Club and RCamA. Sometimes signed work with maiden name, A B Tippin. Exhibited RA, the galleries in Liverpool, Manchester and Southport and at Paris Salon. Lived at Hooton, Cheshire.
