Painter of abstracted landscapes, the Purbecks in Dorset and in particular the quarry at Seacombe being favourite subjects. She studied at Stockport College of Art and Bournemouth & Poole College of Art. She exhibited at Rowley Gallery; the RWA; Maltby Contemporary Art, Winchester; Beatrice Royal Gallery, Eastleigh; Cadogan Contemporary; and Gordon Hepworth Gallery, Newton St Cyres. McLellan’s work was chosen for the loan collection at Bournemouth University in 2003. In 2004 she shared an exhibition with Geoffrey Robinson and Tony Scrivener at the Grapevine Gallery, Norwich, entitled Shoulder to Shoulder.
