Painter and draughtsman, notably of portraits. She was a native of Preston, Lancashire, where she mostly lived. Was educated at Slade School of Fine Art and in Paris. She was a keen amateur musician who lived with her sister, Amy Mayor, a concert pianist who died in 1964, their home being a local artistic salon imbued with liberal Victorian values. Miss Patti Mayor was a keen Christian Scientist. She exhibited widely in Lancashire, in 1959 was given a retrospective at Grundy Art Gallery in Blackpool and in 1963 a memorial show was held at Harris Art Gallery, Preston. Those galleries and Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, hold her work. Died at Ashton-on-Ribble, Lancashire.
