Painter, especially of landscape, in Impressionistic style, mural artist and teacher. Studied at Beckenham Art School with Thomas Freeth, 1946–50, then at Royal College of Art, 1950–3, where his teachers included Ruskin Spear and John Minton. Exhibitions included RA, Young Contemporaries, Beaux Arts Gallery, Leicester Galleries and one-man shows which included Redfern Gallery in 1950s. Lived in London. There was a retrospective of his and Basil Nubel’s work at Bloxham Galleries in 2002.
